Founder Anthony Tilghman established A.T.E. (Anthony Tilghman Enterprises) after spending 8 years working for Metro Media. Fresh out of high school, Anthony wanted to use his personable skills to not only assist other developing entrepreneurs—much like he had hoped to become in the future—but also, to use his knack for marketing and advertising. Luckily, he landed a position at Metro Media in Washington, D.C.
While working for Metro Media, Anthony had proven himself to be indispensable and thus, became a well-known figure within the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area for his PR skills. Anthony worked so diligently and earnestly to develop partnerships, sponsorships, and client relationships while working for Metro Media, that both his name and Metro Media became synonymous in the minds of everyone. Anthony often credits Metro Media for not only presenting him with the opportunity to enter such an alluring and competitive industry, but also for allowing him to better hone his Marketing & Photography skills.

Often describing his business tactics as being characteristics of a cheetah, Anthony says: “I describe myself as being a cheetah because even though their pace is fast, they take their time to get that kill. So, in other words, my knowledge — my experience—are things that I had to first acquire, in order to hit the market. I wanted to make sure that once I established A.T.E., that I entered the field with longevity, energy, and force. Like a cheetah, you can’t just rush; you have to first observe, and get a feel for what you’re up against.”
