Sleepout For Homeless Youth = Success

Last night I Slept on the Street of SE in Washington D.C. to raise money for homeless youth through Covenant House DC.  We raised over 30,000 for to keep programs and to continue the support for an amazing organization like Covenant house to further support our youth in Washington D.C and beyond. We chatted with homeless youth, took a tour through the facilities were the youth stay stayed and it was very inspiring to me cause these kids have bright futures, very smart, creative and they didn't let having nothing stand in the way of waking up everyday with a new appreciation of what they wouldn't have if they wasn't here to live another day. I chatted with several of the youth and it was a just so inspiring hearing their stories and knowing that they have amazing support & I helped made that happened. Check out below for the recap.

Overall It was an amazing experience and it is something to be proud of.

 I will continue to help spread the word about homelessness and they can guarantee that I will be there to help support again in the future.

On April 12, 2013, I am sleeping out so that homeless youth don't have to. It will be dark and cold. But for one night, I can give up the comforts of home knowing it can bring warmth and hope to young people who need it most. Each year in 21 cities across North America, Covenant House serves more than 51,000 youth in their journey from the street to safety, and ultimately, to independence.  Everyone who knows me understands how much I care about the homeless and my continued effort to put an end to homelessness in my community. I will continue to do whatever it takes to End Homelessness and this is one small step forward to help my goal. Anything you can do to help me in this effort would be greatly appreciated. New Cheetah Cubs Make Debut at Washington D.C. Zoo & More

The New Cheetah Cubs make their debut at the Washington D.C. Zoo on Saturday. Only 3 Months old they seem very active and seems to enjoy their surrounding. I was there to capture the moment live so enjoy the photos as well as Lion's & Tigers I captured along the way.
